A Blessing Box is a gift to another in need. What makes The Blessing Box unique is that it is a charity aimed at blessing the giver through service and the recipient by meeting a core need. Here is a list of locations for Blessing Boxes in our community. You may drop off non-perishable foods, hygiene items, books, socks, school supplies, etc. You may drop off donations at any time. CrossRoads exists to combat the three faces of poverty:  physical, spiritual, and civic through a relational environment where cultures collide and lives intersect. Located in Owensboro, Kentucky, CrossRoads provides relief from the symptoms of poverty through: Community meals, Emergency food assistance, Commodities food distribution.

Help Office Of Owensboro
The Help Office of Owensboro, Inc. is a Christian organization founded by a group of churches, lay people, and clergy in 1972. Our mission is to assist the least fortunate of our community with food, clothing, and emergency assistance in a meaningful and compassionate way.
TO DO:
Volunteers answer the phone, interview clients, schedule pickup for food orders, sort and stock pantry shelves, fill our food orders, input data into a computer, assist clients in our clothing closet, sort and hang donations for the clothing closet, assist in unloading food donations and food deliveries from Tri-State Foodbank.

Shepards Hands Food and Clothing Ministry
My Fathers House Church has been the home of Shepherds Hand clothing ministry for 5 years and now it is the home of Shepherds Hand food ministry. They have had to adjust several times how they serve the people during the pandemic as the need has grown and they have seen people asking for food and clothes that have never needed help before.

Furniture and Household Items
Graced Again
As individuals complete steps involved in transitioning out of local shelters, they often realize they have few of the basic household items needed to start over. Graced Again repurposes used household items to help these families begin their new lives.
TO DO:
​Graced Again takes donated house hold items and delivers them to people in need. Donated new or gently used household goods or volunteer to help pick up or deliver.

New Life Church - Thrift Store
We envision New Life Thrift to be a store that offers high quality basic necessities to the community at a low cost. All of our inventory, which will include clothing, housewares, small appliances, and furniture, will be donated by the gracious public and local churches, allowing us to keep prices low. ALL money raised by the store goes back into OUR immediate community, namely those in the NW corridor of Owensboro, where we've got a great need.

We accept donations Monday-Thursday from 10am-3pm
