Beverly's Hearty Slice
Beverly's Hearty Slice was established on September 11, 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Owensboro native Travis Owsley created this organization. He was inspired by his mother's legacy of being a focal point for encouraging, motivating and guiding youth and adults alike. Beverly passed away on January 16, 2018. While processing the loss of his mother, Travis chose to honor her legacy and memory with the founding of Beverly's Hearty Slice, as he knew her work must continue.
